Concept project

Common Ground CoffeeSpecialty coffee and hospitality

A hospitality brand concept that behaves the same on the shelf and on the street

A brand strategy, website and local search concept for a specialty coffee roaster running its own cafés.

Established business · Concept project — created to demonstrate our approach. Not a real client engagement.

Concept website design for a fictional specialty coffee roaster

The challenge.

A roaster with cafés is two businesses wearing one name. Wholesale, retail bags and a room full of people each pull the brand in a different direction, and the website usually serves none of them well.

Strategic insight.

One brand, three jobs. The identity stays constant while the site lets each audience — visitor, buyer, wholesale partner — take a different first step.

What Wonder505 created.

  1. 01A brand strategy defining voice, sourcing story and the line between café and roastery.
  2. 02A website concept with three clear entry paths from a single homepage.
  3. 03Unbranded packaging direction that carries the same restraint as the site.
  4. 04A local search framework for each café location.

Design and execution.

Identity

Warm neutrals, generous space, no rustic clichés. The photography does the atmosphere.

Navigation

Visit, buy, wholesale — decided in the first screen, never mixed afterwards.

Locations

Each café gets a real page with hours, room photography and directions rather than a pin on a shared map.

Concept visuals.

Illustrative outcomes.

What this approach is designed to achieve. These are intentions, not measured results.

  • Three audiences served without three separate websites.
  • A packaging direction consistent with the digital identity.
  • Location pages capable of ranking on their own terms.
  • A brand voice that survives contact with a café menu.

Illustrative project perspective.

Hospitality brands lose coherence at the edges — the cup, the bag, the map listing. The concept treats those edges as the brand, not as afterthoughts.
